What are partnerships?

Regardless of whether IPP is transferring an outside technology into Goddard to advance a NASA mission or finding new uses for a Goddard-developed technology, partnerships allow Goddard to work with other organizations. Once an agreement is in place, the exchange of technology, information, know-how, expertise, and equipment can take place while protecting the interests of Goddard and its partner.

Why are they important?

Partnerships allow Goddard to use fewer resources to solve its technical challenges while providing many benefits to the partner organization, including:

  • Access to Goddard’s equipment and facilities
  • Access to Goddard’s innovative technologies
  • Access to Goddard’s technical expertise
